Now new photographs from the Captain Marvel movie seem to confirm one of the most chilling and devstating comicbook storylines is being set up.

Marvel Studios is finally serving up their first female-led solo superhero film, and as always, they cast the hell out of the role, recruiting Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson for the gig.

"Captain Marvel" lands in theaters everywhere on March 8, 2019. And she can be headstrong and reckless and doesn't always make the flawless decisions for herself.

The comic book and movie powerhouse has released 10 pictures to EW in the USA, which includes glimpses of Larson as the Marvel Cinematic Universe's strongest superhero, Jude Law as her mentor Mar-Vell, Ben Mendelsohn as the villainous Talos and a two-eyed, de-aged Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury.
