Adrian Peterson agrees to sign one-year contract with Washington Redskins

After rushing for 1,485 yards and 11 touchdowns for the Vikings in 2015, Peterson has gained 601 yards and two touchdowns on the ground in 13 games over the past two seasons. Washington has already lost rookie running back Derrius Guice for the entire regular season because of a torn ACL and several other backs on their current roster are also dealing with injuries.

If Peterson still believes he should be a starter in the National Football League today, then Washington is likely going to say no thanks. Peterson is not guaranteed the starting job with Washington and will likely share responsibilities with Rob Kelley and third-down back Chris Thompson.

Charles was a two-time first-team All-Pro selection in nine seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, but he played sparingly last season with the Denver Broncos. But for now, the former Vikings running back is not looking to retire anytime soon. Head coach Jay Gruden told reporters that he wanted to see the progress of Perine and Marshall before the team made any roster decisions.

"We want to bring them in to get physicals on them just in case", Gruden said, when specifically asked of Charles and Peterson.

Peterson had shown that he plenty of gas left in the tank last season after he was traded from the New Orleans Saints midseason to the Arizona Cardinals notching 448 rushing yards on 129 carries in six games.

China is home to about 1.4 billion people and one of the potentially biggest markets for Google (or any other company). The former employees said they doubt the Chinese government will welcome back Google.

If he's healthy and ready to go, Peterson could be a tremendous steal for the Redskins.

The 33-year-old and 2012 NFL MVP ranks 12th on the all-time rushing list with 12,276 rushing yards, just three yards away from passing Marshall Faulk and 36 yards away from eclipsing Jim Brown's record.

It's been a long process, but Adrian Peterson finally found a home for the 2018 season. Perine is also nursing an ankle injury.

Roughly two hours before news of Peterson's imminent signing broke, Guice tweeted a photo from a Florida hospital, where he's set to undergo knee surgery.
