Unai Emery drops major hint over Aaron Ramsey's new contract

Ramsey has been linked with Premier League rivals including Manchester United and Chelsea amid the contract stand-off.

However, Concise News has gathered that the Eagles star will sign a deal when Unai Emery's side return from their pre-season tour of Singapore.

However, new head coach Emery believes Gazidis will stay at the north London club for "years to come".

"He has a lot of experience, which will be good for the group and the team, and his incorporation has always been positive". He has lots of experience in the football world.

Ramsey is considered key to Emery's rebuilding project at the London club after the 22-year Arsene Wenger era but, with his contract expiring next year, the Wales global raised hopes he could agree a new deal.

It was reported on Wednesday that Ramsey was still working on a new contract agreement with the club. "But I am very happy with the work every day and with the performance of the players", he noted. "I am concentrating on this season, on the competition between the goalkeepers because we have plenty of options", he said.

"We want every player to create things and find things when they're on the ball". For me, I want him to stay with us, to work with us, to give the team the big performance.

The winners, along with the next two teams with the best records, will advance to the single-elimination quarter-finals. Great Britain , who won the Davis Cup in 2015, face Uzbekistan in a world group play-off in Glasgow next month.

"I think this is the moment for the young players to show quality like Emile did", he added.

But Henrikh Mkhitaryan, Joseph Willock and Edward Nketiah were all denied by Adan as Atleti won 3-1 on penalties.

The game also saw a senior Atletico debut for ex-Villarreal midfielder Rodrigo, who returned to his hometown club in a €20 million transfer earlier this summer.

Emery has already expressed his desire to keep Ramsey.

On the question of Ramsey becoming captain permanently, Emery said: "It's not yet official, the decision. Aaron has the qualities to be the captain".

The 31-year-old, who was a half-time substitute, had a remarkable debut in Singapore after signing from Betis.
