Championship report: Derby County 1 Leeds United 4

"I've always wanted to manage a club with a big tradition and history like Derby County, so this is a huge opportunity".

Barry Douglas fed Alioski on the left flank and the Macedonian winger produced a ideal cross that was met by a towering Roofe to send the ball back where it came from into the far corner of the net.

The first chance of the match fell his way as Harry Wilson drove into the penalty area and picked out Waghorn, who could only scuff his shot into the path of Mason Mount.

It was little surprise that Bielsa, retained the starting lineup that disposed of Stoke so impressively on the opening weekend of the Championship season. Mateusz Klich was given too much space 25 yards out and he was able to place his shot past Carson and into the corner of the net. Tom Lawrence's direct running was too much for Luke Ayling, the Leeds right-back bringing down the Welsh global outside on the edge of the penalty area.

Intense fighting as Taliban presses to take Afghan city
Washington neither confirmed nor denied the meeting, but acknowledged Wells was in Qatar, where the Taliban maintain an office. After a day of intense fighting , Afghan commandos and USA air strikes drove the group to the outskirts of the city.

The visitors only held the lead for seven minutes as Derby levelled with a goal that will give Leeds keeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell nightmares. Lawrence smashed the free kick over the wall and through the grasp of Peacock-Farrell, who appeared to have the shot covered.

When Tom Lawrence's free-kick was badly misjudged by 21-year-old goalkeeper Bailey Peacock-Farrell the Rams were swiftly level, but Ezgjan Alioski's ideal left-wing cross was headed in by Kemar Roofe to restore the Leeds lead.

Derby had a decent five-minute spell when Leeds looked less than secure at the back, but the West Yorkshire side weathered it and ended the first half as they started it, on the front foot. Carson made a great save and Tomori blocked the rebound. We didn't have control of midfield in the first-half, hence bringing Bradley Johnson on, and although we were initially better we can't just play good games in small bits.

But it wouldn't be long before the third came, as Roofe received the ball in the penalty area and produced an exquisite turn to beat his man before hammering high into the net at Carson's near post.
