Intel 9th Gen Processors Said To Launch On October 1st

Intel is expected to launch the 9th generation Intel Core processors on October 1.

Some consumers, however, might prefer the Core i7-9700K, which is also Intel's first 8-core processor for the mainstream market, at least as far as the i7 goes.

Purported Intel documentation referencing and detailing a pair of top-end Intel Core 9000 Series processors has leaked onto the internet.

NASA mission to 'touch the sun' launches Saturday
It's the fastest any man-made object will have ever traveled and the probe will likely hold that title for a long time. Its launch window will open at 3.48am (eastern daylight time, or 7.48am Greenwich mean time) on Saturday 11 August.

Wccftech claims that Intel will introduce its Core i9, i7, and i5 chips on October 1st.

If you were expecting anything bigger then allow us to disappoint you as, really the ninth-gen chips are mild upgrades on their predecessors, unless Intel has been keeping something very well hidden up its corporate sleeves. As per leaked documents that the site has obtained, the Core i9-9900K will be the first mainstream desktop processor to use the Core i9 brand. It will feature a base clock of 3.6GHz and will be able to reach 5GHz when boosted during single and dual-core processing scenarios.

Then there's the Core i7-9700K which also offers eight cores, but only eight threads. These three unlocked processors, however, are slated to be launched on October 1. This chip will have hyperthreading disabled for a candid eight cores and eight threads. The chip is said to have 12MB of L3 cache and a TDP of 95W. They all run lower clock frequencies, core counts, and TDPs, but won't arrive until Q1 2019 at the earliest with pricing yet to be confirmed.
