Pogba penalty run-up after Sanchez row steals show as Man Utd win

The French World Cup victor has an uneasy relationship with Old Trafford boss Mourinho triggering talks of a summer exit with Pogba's agent Mina Raiola desperate to move him to Barcelona.

"No, I just have to be myself and do what I know, do what I can do and do what I know to do".

Paul Pogba said he will always give his best to the Manchester United fans and his team-mates "no matter what's going on" in a curious Instagram post following Friday's victory over Leicester City.

The crowd went wild as players surrounded the World Cup victor, but one fan, who was named after the great George Best was celebrating more than most. "The manager has names but after, it's how we feel".

"I didn't have any preseason games, I came back on Monday so it was very hard for the legs", Pogba said.

"We saw the downtrodden Jose Mourinho last season and the difference was that they didn't win anything".

"I won't be full from a World Cup". I wanted to play Martial for [Juan] Mata or Alexis [Sanchez] but I can't.

Baker Mayfield's First TD Ball Thrown Back By Giants Fan
The rookie quarterback completed a pass on third-and-18. "I thought he did some good things out there", Jackson said. It's only the first preseason game, but the Baker Mayfield hype train is running like a well-oiled machine.

The Premier League transfer window may be over but there's still three weeks left of excitement/irritation/hopelessness across Europe. I know it's a great cup, it will stay in my mind, but I want to win all the trophies.

This could hint that Shaw will play a big part in this season, and if the backing from his once worst enemy continues, then who's to say he won't have a massive season? "We have Paul with nine days training, Rashford with 11 days training, Fellaini with nine days training and of course we will be in a better condition, I don't remember in my career to be so much in trouble to make changes, because I want to make five or six [substitutions] and I have only three".

"I always love the club", he said. I am looking forward to seeing how their season progresses from here.

After a summer spent continually lamenting his lot at Manchester United, Jose Mourinho was relatively chipper in his post-match interview with Sky Sports.

David de Gea was at his best between the goal as he made some crucial saves, including the one to deny James Maddinson in the first half.

Despite having their own well-formulated attacks, Mourinho's side often found themselves on the back foot and defending for long bouts of the game.Throughout the seasons, we have become used to an overtly attacking Manchester United side with a strong line of defence.
