Paris Saint-Germain not put off by Chelsea's contract plans for Kante

After their World Cup exertions, Jamie Vardy and Harry Maguire will nearly certainly be unable to feature for Leicester against Manchester United.

N'Golo Kante has been offered a new five-year deal that would make him the highest-paid player in Chelsea's history up to now, amid interest from Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona.

Although, the Blues have offered the World Cup victor a contract remain at Stamford Bridge ahead of the 2018/2019 term.

Thomas Tuchel is eager to bring some of his own players in to the club after he was appointed manager earlier in the summer, with only Gianluigi Buffon joining on a free transfer so far.

The Blues are, however, very reluctant to sell their star midfielder this summer, with new boss Maurizio Sarri keen on keeping the French World Champion at Stamford Bridge.

Manchester City announce new Gabriel Jesus contract with brilliant video
Guardiola said he was delighted that Brazil forward Gabriel Jesus , 21, had signed a contract extension. Another London-based manager who expects one of his star players to stay is Chelsea's Maurizio Sarri.

Manchester United chief Matt Judge is in Spain trying to thrash out a deal with Barcelona over the signing of £35.5m defender Yerry Mina, according to various reports.

The transfer window approaches its final days and a number of interesting rumors have been circulating as major clubs prepare for the 2018-2019 season.

Mina has failed to settle in Barcelona with the Catalan club now looking happy to part with a player who only joined them back in January.

Mina's uncle stated the offer from Old Trafford was not "firm", but it seems the door could still be open for Jose Mourinho if he was intent on securing the signing of the 6'5 colossus. This is to keep the Belgian out of Real Madrid's clutches as the Spanish giants search the market for someone to replace Cristiano Ronaldo.
