In the series finale, Frasier moved to Chicago to be with his girlfriend (Laura Linney). It generated some enormous ratings for nearly the entirety of its run and with Will & Grace drawing big ratings and Roseanne briefly being a big hit on ABC before its cancellation, it's no surprise that the studio would want to bring the show back. Writers are meeting with him and pitching their ideas for a premise.

Well, it appears that the Doc is still listening because Deadline have reported that Kelsey Grammer is looking at way to reboot his iconic character.

A spin-off of the 80s sitcom Cheers, Frasier ran for 11 series between 1993 and 2004 on the U.S. network NBC.

Recently, news of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" returning with a black lead hit headlines at this year's Comic-Con in San Diego, proving that the nostalgia for former hit TV series shows no sign of waning in Hollywood.

The filmmaker wrote a cryptic post very heavily hinting that the star is going to tie the knot soon with Nick . Now the latest reports suggest that it was on the same birthday that Nick and Priyanka exchanged rings.

The character Frasier Crane was first introduced on NBC's classic sitcom "Cheers" and continued in his own spin-off show in 1993 that ran for 11 seasons.

In Cheers, psychiatrist Frasier Crane was based in Boston before relocating in the spinoff series to Seattle, where he launched a new career as a radio host.

Asked in December 2016 if he'd be open to the idea of either show returning, he said: "No, I'm very happy with what I'm doing now". Could Frasier make the jump from radio to podcasts or some other more modern form of interaction with faceless audiences?

CBS has declined to comment on the rumours. Frasier won a record 37 Emmy Awards during its more than decade-long run, including five for Outstanding Comedy Series.
