Game of Thrones Final Season Arrives in the First Half of 2019

Goldman is serving as showrunner and will executive produce alongside Martin as well as fellow Game of Thrones executive producer Vince Gerardis and co-creator/executive producer Daniel Zelman (Damages, Bloodline). Though, he offered absolutely nothing in the way of plot details.

The network announced in June that it had ordered the pilot and would proceed with a full series if the pilot goes well. "I'm not gonna tell you what to expect, but it's pretty great".

When Game of Thrones returns for its final season next year, hopefully it can unite the world in simple thanks for the beauty of sex, violence and dragons.

Many outlets had been reporting that the prequel would start shooting in October, but Bloys said that is not the case.

The White House later said the president was saying "no" to taking reporters' questions and was not answering Vega's question. Trump has called the summit a success and invited Putin to visit Washington in the autumn. "They did it the last time".

Although there was already confirmation that Game of Thrones will come to an end in 2019, Entertainment Weekly reports the season premiere will air in the "first half" of next year. Now, thanks to a speech at the HBO Television Critic's Association by Casey Bloys, we can narrow that time frame down by precisely 50%.

Said conclusion will take place in the eighth and final season of the show, but up until today, we only knew that it would air at some point in 2019.

The first five seasons of the show were adaptations of Martin's novels A Game of Thrones, A Clask of Kings, A Storm of Swords, A Feast For Crows and A Dance with Dragons. He said he hopes the prequel pilot will begin filming next year.

Game of Thrones is easily one of the most successful shows in the history of television. So, while they're surely sad to see it go, they're going to do their best to keep the ball rolling with at least one spin-off, with several others in development.
