TMZ: Singer Demi Lovato hospitalized for apparent heroin overdose

The 25-year-old singer-songwriter, who is now on the third leg of her Tell Me You Love Me world tour, was reportedly taken to a Los Angeles hospital after being found unconscious at her home on Tuesday, according to NBC.

Demi Lovato is reportedly in stable condition after suffering an apparent overdose.

"Demi was out Monday night celebrating a friend's birthday in West Hollywood", TMZ reported. She went on to become a multi-platinum pop star, launching Top 10 hits like "Sorry Not Sorry", "Skyscraper", "Heart Attack".

Celebrity pals like Ariana Grande and Brad Paisley offered well wishes on Twitter, with Grande simply writing, "I love u ddlovato".

"I was scared as my mum always told me that your heart could just burst if you do it but I did it anyway and I loved it. Addiction is very real". And now she continues to inspire thousands of young men and women with her body positivity messages. The revelation came forth in a new song titled "Sober" where Lovato bared her inner thoughts and asked her parents for forgiveness. The music video showed photos and video footage of her partying with friends.

Lovato, who is 25 years old, has a lengthy history of substance abuse. "I'm sorry to myself".

In 90-minute documentary Simply Complicated, which was uploaded on YouTube previous year, Demi spoke candidly about her cocaine addiction and battle to get sober.

"I don't have to defend anything but it was Red Bull", she tweeted at the time.

In 2017, a YouTube documentary chronicled her substance abuse issues, which the singer claimed began in her late teens.

Indeed, she wasn't even clean during the filming of Stay Strong - sneaking into bathrooms to take cocaine and faking drug tests with other people's urine. In 2011, she entered a facility, where she was treated for bipolar disorder, bulimia, self-harm, and addiction.

In June, however, she released the song "Sober", which revealed she had relapsed. I'm not one of those people.
