The Fortnite Birthday Challenges are broken

Fortnite's birthday cake event is set to celebrate the game's first birthday.

Here, you'll be able to tackle specially introduced new challenges and other tasks - all with the end-game of unlocking new items for your character.

But that's not all, as the birthday event is just one part of the v5.10 patch that rolled out today.

Fans can now find birthday cakes placed around the map with consumable slices next to them.

Having hyped up their launch earlier this month, it appears fans will be waiting a little longer to complete the new Fortnite Birthday Challenges.

Alongside this new cosmetic content, Epic will also be introducing new challenges into the game in honour of its first birthday.

Among the evidence presented was a controversial dossier compiled in 2016 by former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele. A judge approved the initial wiretapping application, which was renewed three times by other judges, The New York Times said.

These Cake slices give +5 health and +5 shield instantly when consumed, providing some critical lifelines on the island.

On the Save The World mode, Epic are adding a Birthday questline for "Birthday Brigade Ramirez" Hero, as well as the ability to receive special Birthday Llamas containing "heroes and weapons from every event this year".

As for Save the World itself, it's an incredibly dense and overstuffed game that you have to dig deep into to get anything out of.

Similar opinions can be seen outside of the subreddit as well with players suggesting that nerfing building elements is the wrong way to go.

With the 5.0 patch releasing two weeks ago tomorrow, chances are the Slurp Juice buff will come into full effect tomorrow when the next patch drops. Some minor changes have made Playground Mode more fun, such as allowing gamers to switch teams and reduced spawn times. And Battle Royale isn't the only area with Birthday rewards. Official details are scarce, but apparently Tactics Showdown will put a cap on the amount of resources and ammunition players can carry, and will make it so player-built structures can be destroyed more easily.
