Apple and Blackmagic's eGPU brings 'desktop-class graphics' to MacBook Pros

The new models - one 13-inch model and one 15-inch model, both with Apple's Touch Bar - have new eighth generation Intel chips that Apple said should dramatically increase performance.

The updated MacBook Pro with Touch Bar will now be configurable with up to 32 GB of RAM, compared with a maximum of 16 GB of RAM previously.

The Blackmagic eGPU features two Thunderbolt 3 ports, four USB 3 ports, and one HDMI 2 port, which means you could use it as a docking station.
