Kevin Durant to sign 1+1 deal with Warriors

Kevin Durant to sign 1+1 deal with Warriors

National Basketball Association free agency is here, and here's the biggest news within the league.

ESPN's Zach Lowe is reporting that there is mutual interest between the Warriors and Jamal Crawford in making a return to Golden State next season.

PG made the decision without any free-agency meetings, said reports; and made the announcement at a house party in Oklahoma City hosted by Russell Westbrook.

Nuggets • Will Barton is getting a major raise from Denver.

The 52-year-old Kerr signed a contract in 2014 with the Warriors for five years.

Durant will look to continue to pad his impressive resume as he will enter his 11th season.

Rockets • Gerald Green and his hometown Houston Rockets are staying together. He will help the Suns be better on the defensive end.

Dems Want to Delay Supreme Court Nominee. Most Americans Don't
Trump told Fox Business Network's Maria Bartiromo that he has been advised not to ask for the nominee's stance on Roe v. According to a poll released Friday by the Kaiser Family Foundation, two-thirds of Americans support Roe v.

As expected, Durant will be back with Golden State on what's essentially a one-year deal that enables him to become a free agent again next summer. Durant was one of the staples of the Warriors on their way to repeating as NBA Champions, winning back-to-back Finals MVP. Durant's lesser deal (for now) makes it easier for Golden State to use their mid-level exception (worth $5.3 million), though there's no guarantee they do. This time, it won't happen. He averaged 12 PPG and 15.2 RPG last season with the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Thunder also re-signed forward Jerami Grant to a three-year, $27 million deal, according to ESPN.

Having another outside shooter and playmaker will make life much easier for the Bay Area franchise and add another weapon to their bench.

Terms were not available, but the Grizzlies are limited to smaller moves unless they can unload Chandler Parsons, who has $49 million owed to him over the next two seasons. He played for both the Atlanta Hawks and the Philadelphia 76ers.

A person with knowledge of the agreement says Robinson has agreed to a one-year contract with a team option for 2019-20. Ariza reportedly sought a longer, more lucrative deal in the range of $50-60 million, but the Rockets instead awarded point guard Chris Paul to a four-year, $160-million max deal.

In his second season with Toronto, VanVleet, a restricted free agent, averaged 8.6 points and was a valuable backup to Kyle Lowry.
