A scuffed clearance and an inadvertent header off Danish midfielder Martin Delaney left Mario Mandzukic with a good chance that he gobbled up, shooting beyond Schmeichel as Croatia soon levelled.

Croatia entered the match after impressing in the group stage, including a 3-0 dismantling of two-time champion Argentina at the same stadium.

They've also produced only two goals in three World Cup group matches.

Milan Badelj (for Mandzukic 107) - 5 - Took the place of Croatia's lone striker and adequately slotted into the middle of the park as Kramaric move up top.

His son, Kasper, is now the Danish 'keeper and, despite saying earlier this tournament he was exhausted of answering questions about his father, the younger Schmeichel was asked if he knew who Suker was.

Rebic has Knudsen on a plate on the right edge for Croatia!

Knudsen was still causing problems with his long throws, two more of which led to scrambles in the Croatia area before the defender smashed a low cross straight at Lovren. "It's seldom that we play like this, and the game against Croatia will be a very different spectacle". Eriksen however, remains their only realy player possible of creating the magic needed to put the ball in the back of the net.

DF Sime Vrsaljko, 6 - Threatening down the flank, crossing and cutting inside, especially in the first half. In team news, Yussuf Poulsen is likely to return to the side after serving his suspension against France.
