LeBron James Rumors: Cavaliers Star Already Knows Where He's Going

"San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard has reached out to LeBron James, informing the 33-year-old superstar that he wants to play alongside him, a source told Yahoo Sports".

Don't be surprised if some players sign a one-year deal and enter free agency again next summer, when more teams project to have cap space and the salary cap is expected to rise. Several such players told our own Alex Kennedy that they would be interested in settling for a minimum deal if it's with Los Angeles.

Moreover, the fact that LeBron James has been linked with a move out of the team ever since the start of the season has to be a major concern for the franchise, especially considering their relationship has never been really good.

LeBron James has until late Friday night to opt out of the final year of his contract with the Cleveland Cavaliers but rumors continue to swirl about his future.

"Maybe he was anxious about what everyone else was anxious about: where will LeBron James go?"

Smith said that he didn't know Durant's response to James' texts, but did say behind the scenes that Durant remains disinterested in leaving his two-time champion Golden State Warriors.

Romelu Lukaku: It’s now or never for Belgium’s golden generation
Maybe the two tournaments were a bit different where we arrived and we were thinking about what was going to happen. Lukaku has 15 goals in his last 10 worldwide matches but left in the 59th minute after injuring an ankle ligament.

The Lakers are reportedly in heavy talks with the San Antonio Spurs to acquire Kawhi Leonard which would possibly guarantee that LeBron would take his talents out West and sign as well.

"Actually Kevin Durant, you know that dude, the two time reigning NBA Finals MVP".

A wrench would be thrown into all the speculation if James goes the boring route and stays with the Cleveland Cavaliers for at least one more year, but the Los Angeles Lakers have generally been regarded as the hot spot destination for him.

As arguably the top two players in the National Basketball Association, it's hard to fathom James and Durant joining forces.

James himself is facing a hard decision as he surveys the National Basketball Association landscape and tries to find a team that fits all of his needs.
