Heather Locklear held on suspicion of attacking police officer and paramedic

Only a couple of days after Heather Locklear was released from a three-day psychiatric hold, the actress was arrested for battery on a police officer. Locklear was arrested in February 2018 for felony domestic violence against her boyfriend, Chris Heisser.

"Ventura County sheriff's deputies were called to the actress" home late Sunday night on a disturbance call.

When officers arrived, Locklear reportedly punched a deputy when he tried to separate her from her family, then kicked an EMT worker while authorities attempted to place her on a gurney. Her bail was set at $20,000.

Locklear checked into a rehabilitation facility in the wake of that arrest, during which she was allegedly intoxicated.

It is unclear now how these new misdemeanors might impact Locklear's parole given her previous arrest for the same offense. Each count of Heather's misdemeanor battery on a peace officer carries a possibility of one year in jail.

He was booked on charges of first-degree murder and operating a vehicle without a license, in addition to a probation violation. Williams has not yet entered a plea to the allegations.

Locklear was also allegedly unco-operative with the sheriff's deputies and became combative.

Our source says Locklear's family is now relieved that she's expected to go back to rehab, though this hasn't been the first time the actress has received treatment. According to Buschow, Locklear kicked one of the medics in the chest during the check. They know she has been completely out of control and it's scary for everyone involved.

But she has struggled in recent years with substance abuse. I love her and her family, and I just hope that she can really dig in and turn her life around. She reportedly pleaded not guilty to the incident in April. Paramedics were later called to the scene to evaluate Locklear.
