Domino's aims to make delivery easier by paving roads in local communities

They nailed it, the problem with the taste of Dominos Pizza has always been the quality of roads they're delivered on.

Domino's Pizza is filling in potholes in towns across the USA with a new '"Paving for Pizza" initiative. It documents the work done in those communities on the Paving for Pizza web site.

Customers interested in nominating their hometown for a paving grant from Domino's can enter their zip code on the website.

The leaks continue to roll out ahead of E3 reveals, with Assassin's Creed Odyssey yet again being caught in the center of them. Expect Last of Us 2, Spider-Man and of course more from Hideo Kojima's perplexing Death Stranding.

"We can't let your cheese slide to one side, your toppings get untopped, or your boxes get flipped". Images provided by Domino's show a pothole fix truck emblazoned with the chain's logo and the slogan, "Bad roads shouldn't happen to good pizza".

Beyond the damage poorly maintained roads can cause to its pies, Domino's clearly has branding in mind - it's adding the company's logo and tagline, "Oh yes we did", to every filled pothole.

The website for the effort includes video that allows users to see what four different road conditions can do to a pizza traveling to a customer. And it's supposedly fixed a number of potholes in towns across the United States-including Burbank, California; Milford, Delaware; and Athens, Georgia. For its latest move to get your pizza dollar, however, Dominos has something slightly more ambitious in mind, namely public infrastructure projects. According to the inspection report, in addition to the droppings on the dough, large amounts were also found on the floor, shelves, in the bathroom, the walk-in coolers and inside empty boxes of chocolate lava cake.
