The Awesome Adventures Of Captain Spirit Arrives June 26, 2018

The award-winning episodic story game about Max Caulfield and her time traveling powers won the attention of the gaming community with its gripping narrative. Specifically, the studio said that "Life is unusual is an entire universe of storytelling founded upon relatable characters facing real world issues, but always with "a twist of the strange" and we have many more stories we want to tell".

At Microsoft's E3 event today, the developer has taken to the stage to announce another game in the Life is unusual universe, titled The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit. It will be a 100% free game and has no in-app purchases.

Return to your childhood with a touching and heart-warming, one-of-a-kind narrative experience, from the directors and development team behind the BAFTA award winning game LIFE IS STRANGE™. Well, it stars a 10-year-old named Chris who's obsessed with superheroes. In his fantasy adventures of being the titular "Captain Spirit", his adventures eventually lead to "something truly extraordinary" that will happen to him.

He left a heritage, so I think the people who fell in love with motorsport back then are still there, and their kids and grandchildren.

This self-contained narrative experience apparently contains plenty of hidden secrets that you'll discover through multiple playthroughs, and will also feature links to the brand new story that'll come, eventually, with Life is odd 2. According to Dontnod, the game helped it realize the scope of the Life is unusual universe and its relatable characters.

The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit follows an imaginative young boy living alone with his father. Dontnod Entertainment showed off a trailer at Microsoft's Xbox event ahead of the Electronic Entertainment Expo, and it will be available to download for free on June 26. Seeing this kid live in his own bubble and only have his comics to pass the time should be familiar to a lot of us.
