Ubisoft has confirmed its new Assassin's Creed game is called Odyssey and that it'll take place in ancient Greece, likely during the region's tumultuous battle with the Persian Empire.

Skull & Bones is a pirate-themed title that will allow players to play a single-player campaign or online multiplayer in a systemic shared world that reacts to actions. Pacific Time/4:00 p.m. Eastern with the Ubisoft E3 2018 Conference, live from the Orpheum Theater in Los Angeles.

The leaks continue to roll out ahead of E3 reveals, with Assassin's Creed Odyssey yet again being caught in the center of them.

The long-running dance series is back this year, and it's coming out on every platform imaginable: PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC, Xbox 360, Wii U, and even the Wii. New features include customizable gear that you can upgrade as you level and an ability system that is connected to the spear and how you use the spear in combat.

Kassandra and Alexios are descendants of the first civilization bloodline, however, the developer video didn't divulge into the two's lineage further than that.

The presentation of Odyssey ended with a gameplay trailer, which you can see below, and confirmation that the game will be releasing on October 5 2018. You can make dialogue choices, some of which alter the story, Ubisoft said.
