A Few More Details About the Upcoming Halo Release

The Master Chief returns in Halo Infinite - the next chapter of the legendary franchise just announced at the Xbox E3 2018 press conference! A new Xbox-exclusive game from Dark Souls developer From Software was shown, titled Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.

Microsoft also introduced new innovations to push digital gaming forward, including FastStart, an innovation from Microsoft's Machine Learning Team, and plans from Microsoft's Gaming Cloud Team to develop a game streaming service to unlock console-quality gaming on any device. This was one of the givens for the conference, but it's always good to see solid exclusives for Xbox One even if it was expected. Knowing this, the staggered release makes a lot more sense as it's easier to build a single player game than a multiplayer shooter; thus, the single player arrives, they look for potential issues, then release the multiplayer portion of the game.

In all the company showed off 52 games, 15 of which were world premieres, Phil Spencer, the head of the Xbox unit, told the crowd at the Microsoft Theater.

The briefing began with the iconic Master Chief watching on as teams of soldiers drove Warthog jeeps across a ring planet in a tease for the new Halo game being developed by 343 Industries.

So far details are scarce on the new title.
