Man United, Arsenal strike early in transfer window

Manchester United have announced their first summer signing and it is the Brazilian global Fred from Shakhtar Donetsk.

It's been reported that 25-year-old underwent a medical at United's Carrington training ground over the past few days, as Brazil was in the region to take on Croatia in a World Cup exhibition warm up at Anfield.

The Brazil global dropped a huge hint that he was Manchester United-bound at the weekend before swiftly deleting a tweet revealing his location.

'But when you're a good player and a brilliant midfielder like he is, he's going to do well and he's going to be good for United'.

He will become the fourth Brazilian midfielder to play for Manchester United, following Kleberson, Anderson and Rodrigo Possebon.

He made a return to Shakhtar in 2015 after a season away in Brazil and scored a further 21 goals for the club while also adding more winner's medals to his cabinet.

According to the firm, apps will launch up to 60% faster on an iPhone 6 Plus, a device that launched four years ago in 2014. The event is much awaited not only by Apple enthusiasts but also by developers and technology enthusiasts across the globe.

Fred did not return to the national team until a 3-0 friendly win over Russian Federation in March and Tite was keen for his transfer to be completed before the World Cup starts on June 14.

Fred can work box to box, he has a lovely left foot, he's improving very nicely and has picked up valuable European experience.

His signing represents Jose Mourinho's first foray into the transfer market this summer ahead of a season in which the Portuguese coach will be expected to challenge rivals Manchester City domestically. I am proud of him.' Lucescu said.

"I don't have any more to say about my club because now I want to have focus here with the national team on the World Cup".

Fred joined the Ukrainian giants back in 2013 from Internacional, since then he has featured regularly for them and helped them clinch 2 domestic league titles, two domestic cups and two super cups.
