Trump meets with Kim Kardashian in the Oval Office

Kim Kardashian West is reportedly headed to the White House to meet with President Donald Trump about prison reform.

Kardashian West has urged the president to pardon Alice Marie Johnson, 63, who has spent more than two decades behind bars and is not eligible for parole.

Kardashian will first sit down with Kushner to discuss overhauls to the US prison system before the two meet with Trump and White House counsel, the magazine reported.

Actor Sylvester Stallone successfully lobbied Trump for a posthumous pardon of legendary boxer Jack Johnson. Earlier this month, the House Judiciary Committee approved the First Step Act, which will expand programmes for prisoners and allow for more home confinement, reported CNN.

Kardashian West has advocated for Johnson in recent months, vocalizing her opinion via social media and working with Kushner and his wife, Ivanka Trump, in hopes of getting the government to grant the great-grandmother clemency.
