Battlefield 5: DICE drops the ball with a disappointing reveal event

Good to know it that there will not be any premium passes and DLCs to purchase, the pay-to-win design is gone.

EA and Battlefield series developer DICE have announced that Battlefield V will be set in World War 2, will not have a premium pass or paid expansions and will release in October this year.

As previously speculated, it was confirmed that Battlefield 5 will take place during World War II. It was explained that you may never actually even see this final day in Grand Operations depending on how the teams fared earlier, but if you do it will really make for a dramatic experience. If you opt for the Deluxe Edition, you'll be able to start playing on October 16, and if you subscribe to EA Access, you'll be able to hop over a week earlier on October 11.

The company explains that Battlefield 5 will be set in the lesser known regions during the second World War, including Rotterdam.

In addition to the multiplayer modes and single-player War Stories campaigns, the game will include a four-player cooperative mode named Combined Arms. While the event lacked in terms of gameplay footage, we did get a decent amount of information.

New to Battlefield 5 is the Company, your "personalized collection of customized soldiers, weapons, and vehicles that you can tailor and grow as you play".

All of these multiplayer modes and features come together in Tides of War, EA and DICE's "new approach to live services".

But on the other hand, there are clubs like "Phoenix" or "San Antonio", which only once in the "regular" played overtime. Bookmaker offices, as a rule, estimate the probability of a draw with coefficients from 10.00 to 15.00.

EA also announced today that in celebration of the upcoming launch, DICE are giving all Battlefield players the opportunity to download content from Battlefield 1 and Battlefield 4 for free on the Road to Battlefield V.

The rivalry between Dice's Battlefield series and Activision's Call of Duty has been one of the most competitive in the gaming world ever and gamers seem to have enjoyed taking part in the fruit of this rivalry.

The game is set for release on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 19, 2018.

We're hopeful that BFV shines in HDR mode.

The big new mode for multiplayer in Battlefield V is Grand Operations, which builds upon the popular Operations mode first introduced in Battlefield 1, which similarly combines several modes and maps over one big match.

According to GameStop, pre-ordering "Battlefield V" or "Battlefield V Deluxe Edition" grants the buyer the "Elister Offer", which gives you early access to the "Battlefield V" Open Beta.
