Seann William Scott to star in 'Lethal Weapon' Season 3

He said the first incident happened when he became angry with what he deemed unsafe working conditions on the set. Deadline reported weeks prior that Crawford had been accused by some of his co-workers for creating a "hostile work environment".

The series' ratings were enough to score a renewal, however the behavior of Clayne Crawford put the show in jeopardy. Naturally, there are exceptions (Fargo, Hannibal, Bates Motel, Westworld), but I wasn't exactly that jazzed about Lethal Weapon. TV started exploring a recasting - a rare and dramatic move when involving a lead of an established series, especially when an iconic character like Riggs is involved. Warners on Sunday confirmed Crawford will not return to the drama with a statement: "Warner Bros". Crawford apologized and provided details of the incidents in an Instagram post: In one, he "reacted with anger" when he felt the safety of cast and crewmembers was at risk during the filming of an episode, and in another, an actor was hit with a piece of shrapnel while Crawford was directing an episode.

"Seann is a fantastic addition to this already incredible cast", Michael Thorn, the President of Entertainment at Fox Broadcasting Company, said in a statement.

The drama behind the scenes of the Lethal Weapon show has been well-documented over the last few months, now Damon Wayans will stay in his role as Roger Murtaugh, with the show being renewed for a third season. For these fans, there simply is no show without Crawford to star as the loose cannon Martin Riggs - a character which was originated by Mel Gibson in the four-part film series of the '80s and '90s.

Elon Musk's Five Year Plan of SpaceX: Working on 300 Missions
After stage separation, SpaceX will try to land the Falcon 9's first stage on its drone ship stationed in the Atlantic Ocean. The booster is created to be reused up to 10 times with little maintenance between missions and up to 100 times overall.

Shortly after the news was revealed, social media exploded with tuts and hisses from viewers who are still totally Team Clayne.

Sources tell THR that Warners opted to fire Crawford after he was disciplined each time for his poor behavior. It's no masterpiece, but the chemistry between Crawford and Damon Wayans is infectious.

"To the Fans - Thank you for the overwhelming support and love", it continues.
