Lalu's son Tej Pratap weds Aishwarya

When Sushil Kumar Modi had hosted a reception for his child's marriage, Lalu Yadav had forced it a place to reveal up and bless the newly weds.

Among other notable guests have been Bihar Governor Satya Pal Mallik, Union minister Ram Vilas Paswan and veteran socialist chief Sharad Yadav. Yadav, through an application written to Jail IG Harsh Magla, had demanded five-day parole to attend his son's wedding.

RJD national general secretary and MLA Bhola Yadav had on Friday said that Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will be present for the ceremony.

Tej Pratap and bride Aishwarya Rai, daughter of former Minister and senior RJD leader Chandrika Rai, garlanded each other amid chanting of Vedic mantras and thunderous applause from prominent leaders and thousands of RJD supporters and guests. Congress president Rahul Gandhi and his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, however, did not attend the wedding.

The wedding was solemnized at the sprawling Bihar Veterinary College ground in the presence of several party leaders and dignitaries.

(G.N.S) Dt. 11 Patna Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad got provisional bail on medical grounds for six weeks from the Jharkhand High Court.

RJD sources said, "Lalu Yadav looked relaxed after the bail was granted to him".
