Snapchat's latest redesign starts rolling out

For starters, both Snaps and Chats are once again displayed in chronological order.

And now, it's more than just a test - apparently, Snapchat has rolled out the redesigned redesign (which is to say, the old design) to the "majority" of iOS users. On top of that, Stories are now moved back to the right-hand side of the app, leaving the left side reserved for private Snaps.

Snapchat's slowing growth and lower-than-expected revenue are, in part, likely due to the app's redesign disappointing another key group: millennials.

"We are now rolling out an update to address this by sorting communication by recency and moving Stories from friends to the right side of the application, while maintaining the structural changes we have made around separating friends from creators and sorting friends' Stories by relationships".

A redesign of the app followed, although it has been immensely polarizing.

Miranda Kerr is now a mother of two, while husband Evan Spiegel has finally entered fatherhood. She also said that her son with Bloom, Flynn , is eager to assume the role of big brother.

Snap CEO Evan Spiegel has always defended his decision to move stories telling shareholders, "People are saying, 'I used to feel like this celebrity was my friend and now they're not my friend anymore.' Exactly".

More than a million people signed a petition calling for the 2018 Snapchat update to be reversed, and it appears that the company has finally made a decision to act.

Snapchat has also faced intense pressure from Facebook, which has updated its range of social apps, Messenger, Instagram and WhatsApp, with features to similar to those on Snapchat, including Stories and camera filters. However, since then his stance appears to have loosened. We completely understand the new Snapchat has felt uncomfortable for many'.

On this same scale, millennials fell from a high of 30 down to a low of 8 and user satisfaction fell from 27 to a low of 12 in the last month. "We are already starting to see early signs of stabilisation".
