Trump says he'd 'love to' speak to Mueller in Russian Federation probe

Former assistant USA attorney and National Review columnist Andrew McCarthy said Friday the Justice Department should do everything in its power to stop Robert Mueller from interviewing President Donald Trump.

"If I thought it was fair, I would override my lawyers", he continued, suggesting his team of attorneys are against the sit-down meeting.

"I would love to go". He said collusion with the Russians "never existed". There was nothing. There was no obstruction. Trump and his lawyers have said in recent days that they fear Mueller is trying to trap Trump into committing perjury during an extended interview.

Also Wednesday, Trump echoed the concerns of a small group of House conservatives who have been criticizing the Justice Department for not turning over certain investigatory documents.

"This signals a new phase", said one senior Trump adviser who was granted anonymity to describe private conversations. "I would love to", he said.

"I would love to speak".

Addressing reporters shortly after at Andrews Air Force Base, Trump hinted that he would agree to the meeting only if he was assured that he would be treated fairly, claiming that the investigation is now a "witch hunt" and that Mueller's team consists of "angry Democrats".

Trump also revealed that details for a face-to-face meeting between United States and North Korea officials have been set. "We'll be announcing it soon".

Following the sale, the executive vice president now owns 68,693 shares in the company, valued at approximately $13,541,451.09. Institutions purchase large blocks of a company's outstanding shares and can exert considerable influence upon its management.

Asked about the matter on Friday, Trump said, without explicitly mentioning Giuliani, that "virtually everything said has been said incorrectly, and it's been said wrong, or it's been covered wrong by the press". "It is a very unfair thing".

Trump spoke to reporters as he prepared to head to Dallas, where he is addressing a gathering of the National Rifle Association Friday afternoon.

"At some point in the future I would like to save the money", he said. In one question, Mueller asks what Trump knew about campaign staff, including his former campaign chairman Paul Manafort, reaching out to Moscow.

Trump also brushed off revelations by his newly recruited attorney, former NY mayor Rudy Giuliani, that he was aware of and approved reimbursements to his personal lawyer Michael Cohen for a $130,000 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels.

After repeatedly denying knowledge of the payment, Trump tweeted on Thursday following the revelations by Giuliani that Cohen had undertaken the payout separately from the campaign "to stop the false and extortionist accusations made by her about an affair".

"Rudy's great, but Rudy had just started and he wasn't totally familiar with everything", Trump said. But he really has his heart into it.

"So disgraceful that the questions concerning the Russian Witch Hunt were "leaked" to the media", Trump wrote on Twitter early on Tuesday morning. He's seen a lot of them.

"He's working arduous studying the subject material, and he's going to be issuing an announcement too", Trump added.
