Carried Underwood has shared the following image of her head before her operation at the Country Music Awards.

With a new album poised for release and a world tour on the way, it's no wonder country music icon Keith Urban was all smiles this weekend.

The awards will be broadcast at 8 p.m. ET on CBS. She is the current record holder for most consecutive wins for female vocalist of the year; this year her competition in the category includes Underwood, McEntire, Morris and Kelsea Ballerini.

At this yr's award ceremony, Underwood is nominated for 2 awards, Finest Feminine Vocalist of the Yr and Finest Vocal Occasion of the yr.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS: Chris Stapleton is leading the nominations this year, with a total of five. According to CMT.com, "Florida Georgia Line and Bebe Rexha will perform their hit 'Meant to Be.'" Since this song is has been hugely successful, fans can look forward to how they will perform it. Ashton Kutcher, Cam, Drew Brees and Eve will present awards.

Kentucky's shadow major nominee is Virgie native Josh Osborne, a songwriter who is up for song of the year for co-writing Sam Hunt's "Body Like a Back Road".
