Motorola Moto G6 Play leaked in real life pictures

Motorola Moto G6 Play leaked in real life pictures

Motorola has scheduled a launch event on April 19 in Sao Paulo, Brazil in which the company is expected to announce the Moto G6 series of smartphones.

After a few quite extensive leaks, it really did seem like there was little more to learn about Motorola's upcoming Moto G6 family. Well now, the Moto G6 Plus, which is reportedly the most powerful among the lot, has appeared on a benchmarking site with its key specifications. Well, the renders of the Moto G6, G6 Plus and G6 Play are in line with what the previous leaks have revealed in terms of design and looks. The Moto G6 will be the standard one whereas the Moto G6 Plus will be the highest and most equipped model in Moto G6 series. Moto G6 is expected to sport a design similar to that of Moto X4. The back of the device shows the circular single rear camera with LED flash.

There's a fingerprint sensor on the rear of this phone, and according to all of the photos we've seen so far it'll be the only handset to come with a scanner not below the screen. Interestingly, past renders of the Moto G6 and Moto G6 Plus suggest fingerprint sensor will still be placed under the display so it's still unclear whether only the G6 Play will be the only model with a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The legal classification of workers has been a major issue for "gig economy" companies that rely on independent contractors. The judge sided with Uber and granted their motion, entering judgment in favor of Uber as a matter of law.

Motorola Moto G6 Plus is said to sport a 5.93-inch Full HD+ (2160x1080p) display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The sticker also mentions the camera configuration with a 13-megapixel sensor on the back and an 8-megapixel sensor up front.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 mobile platform consists of eight Kryo 260 cores (4× Kryo 260 @ 2.2GHz, 4× Kryo 260 @ 1.84GHz), Adreno 512 GPU, and 600Mbps 4G LTE modem. The phone will likely be powered by a more powerful Snapdragon 630 SoC. Today, the Motorola Moto G-range generally sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 400-series or 600-series chipsets, along with other features and specifications that are the norm in smartphones priced at under Rs 20,000 in India. All three phones are expected to ship with Android Oreo out-of-the-box.
