Harry and Meghan's wedding photographer also took engagement pics

Speaking about landing the coveted commission, Lubomirski said, "I could not be more thrilled or honored to photograph this historic occasion".

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle today confirmed that their wedding pictures will be taken by the same photographer who captured their engagement portraits.

Alexi is a well-known portrait photographer, and photographed Prince Harry and Ms. Markle past year at Frogmore House, Windsor, to mark the news of their engagement.

Kensington Palace said Friday that Alexi Lubomirski will take pictures at the gala event on May 19 at Windsor Castle. He traveled in Peru as a young man and studied in England, and now lives in NY with his wife and two sons, the statement says.

This week, community heroes were named among the wedding guests as it emerged United States president Donald Trump and predecessor Barack Obama have not been invited.

Coli outbreak in 7 states
A total of 17 cases have been reported across Connecticut, Idaho, Missouri, New Jersey , Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Washington. Last year, at least 25 people contracted E. coli infection from leafy greens including romaine lettuce from Canada.

Meghan's mum Doria, who joined the couple at the Invictus Games a year ago, is expected to attend. Hugo Burnand was behind the lens for Prince William and Kate's big day, and later admitted that although the images looked "effortless", there had been months of hard work and preparation in the lead-up to the wedding to ensure it all went smoothly.

Meghan is set to marry Harry on May 19th. With the couple breaking several royal wedding traditions, many people just can't wait to see how the wedding pans out.

Soon-to-be British citizen Meghan Markle was spotted back on American soil this week, giving her motherland one last visit before her royal wedding.

On top of the statement from Kensington Palace itself, a statement was also sent out by Lubomirski. He was born in England, but at age 8 he moved to Botswana with his mother and stepfather (who gave him his first camera). He is a renowned portrait and fashion photographer, who has also published two photography books.
