Woman Testifies Affair With Missouri Governor Was Not Always Consensual

The woman testified that she was tied to exercise equipment in the Greitens' home basement and that after she began crying and told him to stop, Greitens helped her undo the tape.

Greitens has offered no indication that he plans to resign.

However, a number of leading State officials called for Greitens to resign, including Missouri Auditor Nicole Galloway.

"I will continue to serve the people of Missouri as their governor and to work for you every day", he said.

The governor, a married father of two, spoke shortly before a special bipartisan committee of the Republican-controlled state House of Representatives released its 24-page document.

The report did not make recommendations about Greitens' future and it is up to the House committee to file articles of impeachment.

5 - The attorney for the ex-husband of the woman with whom Greitens had an affair says a grand jury has been empaneled; Gardner's office says it can neither confirm nor deny. Greitens chose not to testify and didn't produce documents or sworn answers to the committee's written questions.

"This is a political witch hunt" the governor said after the report was released.

Greitens said at a news conference that the report from the committee is "full of lies" and is part of a "political witch hunt".

Republican Sen. Rob Schaaf, a frequent critic of the governor, said the governor already has an attorney on his staff, Lucinda Luetkemeyer.

Trump pardons ex-Cheney aide Scooter Libby
Toensing told the Associated Press that she submitted the pardon papers for Libby to the White House counsel's office last summer. Libby was one of the only people who could say whether the president had authorized the leak of a C.I.A. officer's identity.

The criminal case against him is more narrowly defined. The unnamed stylist also said Greitens slapped her. Missouri's GOP leadership said they plan to call for a special session on the governor's impeachment once the committee issues its final report on May 18. He then asked if she had exercised and had her change into a white T-shirt with a slit on the top and pajama trousers. "He does it and he's like, 'You're not going to be a bad girl, are you?'" I don't want this, ' " she said. The woman testified that she then heard a click, like of a cellphone picture, and saw a flash. She told the committee that the governor told her not to mention his name or he would "take these pictures, and I'm going to put them everywhere I can". "And they know, they need to know, that fake charges and falsehoods aren't going to stop us". He said he felt for the woman with whom Greitens had the affair, calling her a victim. She said she started "uncontrollably crying". Then he said she needed to be hydrated, so he put water in his mouth and tried to spit it into hers.

She also testified that she met with Greitens again in May 2015, when she had consensual oral sex with him.

The witness added to her statement later. "For her to have signed that letter and use her position in that way, to me it violates the law".

"So he's got this whole thing down of what he was going to say or whatever, but he was super - he was in a controlled state, which at this point was intriguing to me'".

The House committee report said it doesn't possess any evidence of the photo.

Other Republicans to whom KCUR reached out to did not immediately respond to request for comment. "Instead, she said, 'I felt like he was trying to claim me.' The slap did not leave a mark but 'was just jarring".

Senate Democratic Leader Gina Walsh released a statement saying the caucus has no faith in Greitens based on "the shocking and unsettling events detailed in this report". One, I felt really disgusted with myself that I allowed that first time to happen.

"This was an entirely consensual relationship, and any allegation of violence or sexual assault is false", he said. A St. Louis TV station broke the story after the women's ex-husband provided a secretly recorded conversation in which she described the affair.

Greitens on Wednesday criticized the House report as "one-sided tabloid, trash gossip that was produced in a secret room". He doesn't have feelings for me, he just wants to fuck me.

"He had an iPhone", she said in testimony "And if he had iCloud, yes".
