Pedro Martinez applauds Joe Kelly for plunking Tyler Austin

Colorado Rockies slugger Nolan Arenado went after San Diego Padres pitcher Luis Perdomo after a 96 miles per hour fastball sailed behind his back.

Boston Red Sox pitcher David Price exited Wednesday's start against the New York Yankees after only one inning, complaining about numbness in his left hand. The Yanks won the game 10-7 but everybody is going to remember the fight on the field.

Photographers perfectly captured the wild brawl between the Yankees and Red Sox on Wednesday night.

First of all suspensions-at least of Tyler Austin and Boston's Joe Kelly, but what about CC Sabathia and Aaron Judge? The Red Sox were mad at Austin for an ugly slide into second base.

The bad blood is back and it has people buzzing. "That's what they got".

At the end of the night, he drove in four of the Yankees 10 runs.

It all began on a Tyler Wade bunt in the third inning that would advance Neil Walker to third base, forcing Tyler Austin out at second. The rivalry is back, and I don't think any baseball fans mind at all. "You know sometimes in your slide it carries you, and I don't know if there's any carryover from all the (Manny) Machado stuff a year ago, and they're going to handle things a certain way now".

Yankees designated hitter Tyler Austin was in the middle of both faceoffs. "I thought there was absolutely nothing wrong with that slide".

Kevin Spacey sexual assault case to be reviewed by LA district attorney
A spokesperson for the Los Angeles District Attorney told CNN on Wednesday the office had been given the case earlier this month. Prosecutors are reviewing a decades-old sex crimes case against disgraced actor Kevin Spacey .

"Nothing remotely dirty about it", Boone said. Austin slid toward the base, but it might have been a late slide.

But they did. After the teams ultimately ended up separating from the third-inning jawing session, game action resumed.

Three New York relievers held the Red Sox mostly at bay over the final four innings, with Jackie Bradley Jr. notching his third hit and scoring on a wild pitch in the ninth.

Austin charged the mound after he slammed down his bat and after Kelly waved to him to come fight. "No one likes getting hit with a 98-mph fastball, so everybody was pretty upset about it".

"I mean, I was ready to defend myself", Kelly said. It's going to happen. just hope nobody gets hurt.

Strong words from the Yankees' new skipper. Kelly motioned at him with both hands as if to say "bring it on" and it was on.

"It made me wonder, too, if they were in their clubhouse watching the Padre-Rockies brawl and planted the seed for them and led them to think that that's why they should do", Cashman said. Tempers flare and guys get after it. Benches cleared and punches were thrown. Kelly was replaced by pitcher Brian Johnson, and Shane Robinson replaced Austin. About two weeks before in a game at Detroit, Yankees Dellin Betances, Kahnle and Austin Romine were ejected after a brawl with the Tigers.
