Milwaukee Bucks: Grades from 130-95 loss to Philadelphia 76ers

The rookie gave Sixers fans a taste of what is to come in the future with him on the court during the team's win against the Milwaukee Bucks last night, as he finished off the regular season and got himself into fantastic form for the important playoff games ahead by breaking an National Basketball Association record. In an appearance before Philadelphia's final regular-season game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday, Embiid and his supervillain-ish mask drew even more attention than normal, as he discussed if and when he will return in the team's first-round series.

He wore the black mask during pregame shooting drills and would need one in the postseason.

That appears to be the same mask he was wearing in an Instagram video a day earlier.

"It was just a matter of going out there and enjoying myself and playing confident", Fultz said.

Embiid hasn't played since March 28, when he collided with teammate Markelle Fultz. Philadelphia and Miami split their season series 2-2 with the Sixers winning the first two and the Heat winning the last two.

"I don't think I'm ready to play", he said.

The Buccaneers are 6-3 all-time against Tennessee/Houston in August games, including a 3-2 mark on the road. The game against the Bengals will be played Sunday, August 26th at 4 pm and be shown nationally on Fox.

"I'll probably fall asleep tonight and wake up in the middle of the night and start crying", said Towns.

Embiid said he hoped the National Basketball Association would allow him to wear a black mask that made him look like the 76ers' version of Zorro.

"We do stuff slowly", Brown said.

Redick was a late scratch with lower back tightness and Simmons, who finished with four points, missed both shots in the first half.

Fultz's landmark night provided an uplifting finish to a regular season that was marred by a lengthy absence because of a shoulder injury that kept him out of the lineup for 68 games. Embiid said he deserved to win National Basketball Association defensive player of the year, Simmons should be rookie of the year and Brown for coach of the year. We're a top-three defensive team in the league and a lot of that speaks for itself. The Heat held them to just 101 points per 100 possessions in their four meetings, but the Sixers, who led the league in passes per possession and ranked second in player movement, have since become more hard to defend.
