Manchester City find their flawless match with Tinder deal

Similarly, Facebook said the problem was caused by changes it announced earlier today and promised to work with Tinder to create a fix. Meanwhile, the problem has been fixed, with Tinderers reporting that their matches and messages are back.

Tinder acknowledged the issue on Twitter but did not responded with a comment.

The social media giant changed the rules that govern the data exchanges with third-party apps like Tinder. The adjustments are created to limit the information apps can gather from users following the Cambridge Analytica scandal, which Facebook now says affected 87 million users, up from the "approximately" 270,000 initially reported by the social media giant in March. The app is planning to launch a two-second looping video format called Loops for users to be able to share a little bit more of them than just a couple of static pictures.

To register for Tinder, users must their profiles to a Facebook account for verification and profile details.

Shutdown being observed in Indian held Kashmir against killing of 17 youth
According to a Kashmir Media Service report, search operations were conducted in Islamabad and Shopian districts of South Kashmir. Hundreds of Pakistanis also rallied Monday in the port city of Karachi against India and condemned the killings in Kashmir.

Similar mobile dating apps Bumble and OkCupid (which, like Tinder, is an Match Group company) did not appear to be affected by the new privacy rules despite their requests for personal user information like birthdays and friends lists. The move comes in the wake of Cambridge Analytica privacy scandal, but also brings some unwanted consequences along such locking Tinder accounts of users. Well, you can of course loop it. The situation is pretty interesting, as other dating apps that are connected with Facebook didn't pose any log in trouble. Thus, encouraging the people on Tinder to try out Loops seeing as they won't have to remove a picture in order to add a Loop. "Bravo to Facebook for being considerate of their only valuable product".

The bug caused headache (and heartache) for Tinder users who couldn't access their profile and reconnect with matches.

We reached out to Tinder in an effort to further get to the bottom of what may turn out to be a sexless night for millions, and will update this post when and if we hear back.
