Jarvis Landry Traded To Cleveland Browns

Most recently with Brian Hartline and Davone Bess was a draft day trade and of course the Dolphins made the move to trade for Hall of Fame receiver Paul Warfield way back when.

Rapoport further stated that the deal included one pick in the 2018 NFL Draft and another selection in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Exact terms of the deal have yet to be disclosed. He led the National Football League in receptions with 112 last season and nine touchdown catches.

There are some weapons on the Browns offense in Josh Gordon, David Njoku and Corey Coleman, but Landry adds another threat to the mix for whoever comes in to play quarterback.

If the Dolphins do decide to deal Landry, it isn't hard to see why a number of teams would be interested. Since then, the former LSU Tiger has been selected to three Pro Bowls.

The Browns, who went 0-16 last season, were desperate to land a playmaker like Landry.

It's unclear whether Miami would attempt to make up for Landry's absence with a free agent wide receiver, a draftee, or possibly a tight end.

Landry signed his franchise tag Thursday, which now commits the Cleveland Browns to paying him $15,982,000 in 2018. The Browns are also reportedly working on a new contract for Landry as an agreement is expected to get done soon. However, his 987 receiving yards in 2017 was one of the lowest totals for any wideout catching 100 or more passes in a season.
