All Toys 'R' Us stores could soon close

That has caused numerous stores that populated numerous malls to see a drastic drop in sales, such as Toys R Us. The report cites anonymous sources close to the company. In January, Toys "R" Us also said that it will close about 180 stores in the United States in the coming months.

Toys R Us Canada says it's business as usual amid reports that the retailer's USA counterpart is preparing to liquidate operations in the United States.

The toy chain's USA division entered bankruptcy in September, planning to emerge with a leaner business model and more manageable debt.

The toy chain secured a $3.1 billion loan to keep stores afloat during the holidays, but sales results were worse than expected.

Karti Chidambaram sent to CBI custody for 3 more days
Ltd., the company which is accused of giving 10 lakh rupees to six FIPB officials for influencing approvals related to INX media . The court also directed Karti Chidambaram to surrender his passport to the ED and cooperate with the investigation.

The remaining stores across the US are making preparations for liquidation.

The company's struggles aren't limited to its USA operations.

The toy retailing giant appears to be running out of time, and money - pushing closer to having to close the doors of the entire chain.

Stores outside of the USA are not affected. Sales were on the rise in the 1990s, but in recent years, more consumers turned to online shopping which impacted sales. Hasbro fell more than 3 percent, while Mattel stock declined almost 5 percent.
