Village's bottled water delivery as pipes are burst

However, some suppliers have kept warnings in place and are advising customers to use water sparingly, as some parts of the United Kingdom are still experiencing shortages.

"We are getting as much extra water into our network as we can and sincerely apologize to all our customers who are now without water or who have low pressure", said Thames Water in a press release.

"The thaw has seen our teams called out to an unprecedented number of leaks on our pipes in the Rugby and Southam areas which has put pressure on the network and meant some customers experienced low pressure or periodic interruptions to supply during Sunday evening".

With water issues happening right across the country, the supplier of bottled water is under pressure and the company is doing all it can to get additional deliveries to areas without water. This will make a real difference.

They said they are putting as much extra water as possible into local networks and fixing leaks and bursts as quickly as possible.

Homes had been left without water since 1pm yesterday and a water collection point was set up by South East Water.

"In the meantime, we are all working hard to prioritise supplies for vulnerable customers, to provide bottled water where necessary and to provide updates via social media and our websites".

'We are now managing our resources but would ask that customers look continue to be vigilant to look for leaks'.

While Severn Trent water says it is also returning water pressure to normal this morning, Welsh water customers are suffering similar problems.
