Fiorentina captain Davide Astori found dead

"Our sincerest condolences to the family and friends of @acffiorentina captain and Italian global Davide Astori, who passed away suddenly last night", UEFA tweeted.

"For this bad and delicate situation, and above all out of respect for his family, we appeal to the sensitivity of the media".

In England, Chelsea manager Antonio Conte spoke about the tragic news on Sky Sports ahead of his side's Premier League clash with Manchester City, saying: "I had him with the national team". He previously spent six seasons at Cagliari and one on loan at AS Roma.

He was raised at AC Milan but never played for their senior team.

His lone goal for the Azzurri came in a 2013 Confederations Cup third-place match against Uruguay.

Italian authorities, meanwhile, have begun investigating the player's death, with prosecutor Antonio De Nicolo revealing that a "culpable homicide" case has been opened.

In those few brief moments, it seems like the mind cycles through a thousand thoughts, unable to comprehend that Davide Astori would never be seen playing in a Fiorentina shirt ever again.

Black Panther Continues Its Worldwide Dominance
Lawrence, one of Hollywood's most popular and highest-paid actresses, was last seen in Darren Aronofsky's " Mother! ". Death Wish skewed male (57 percent), and played even older than Red Sparrow , with 30% of ticket buyers 35 and older.

"Davide was a true captain, a great person and it was an honour to have him hear for these years", he told reporters.

Former Italy Prime Minister Matteo Renzi was one of the first to pay tribute. I don't believe it and I cry with the family and everyone at Fiorentina. "Goodbye Captain", he wrote on Twitter.

But the pain felt and the tears cried for the Captain of my team was real on Sunday morning, a feeling of loss that I will never forget.

Radja Nainggolan, a Belgian worldwide who played with Astori at two clubs, posted a photo of the two of them joyously celebrating a goal at Cagliari. Juventus face Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley with several of Astori's former Italy teammates - Gianluigi Buffon, Giorgio Chiellinia and Andrea Barzagli - expected to play for the Italian club.

"You were the best expression of an old-fashioned world", Buffon said, "one that people have left behind, and which was governed by values like altruism, elegance, politeness and respect toward others". My honest compliments, you were one of the best sporting figures I ever came up against. "His salary will go to his family, his partner and his daughter", Giovanni Malago the current acting head of Italian football said on Monday.

"A great player, but an even bigger man, so many battles fought together in Cagliari before coming to Rome, I can not believe it", he wrote.
