Marcus Davenport to Packers again in Mel Kiper's 2.0 mock draft

Marcus Davenport to Packers again in Mel Kiper's 2.0 mock draft

UCLA quarterback Josh Rosen figures to be one of the most divisive prospects in the 2018 NFL Draft, mixing easy-to-see upside with questions about his durability and concerns regarding his character/personality.

J.J. Nelson is expected to return, but the undersized speedster has been affected by dropped passes throughout his three-year career.

"I think it would be a nice pick over a player like Landry who is not a guaranteed first round pick", Kiper said.

Kiper compared Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen to Matthew Stafford when he was coming out of Georgia in 2009. It has Arizona selecting Alabama wide receiver Calvin Ridley with the 15th pick.

Hurst will have an opportunity to impress next week at the NFL Scouting Combine, held February 28 through March 5 in Indianapolis. In his second mock draft, Kiper doesn't have Landry going in the first round of the draft.

Could they do it again in this year's draft? I thought about tackle here, as veteran left tackle Jason Peters is coming off a torn ACL and MCL. "He's got tremendous size, he's got tremendous athleticism for a big man". And then certainly Barkley would give you the run/catch/block option at running back, which would be an upgrade, obviously losing (Isaiah) Crowell as a free agent.

"Jason Peters tore his ACL and MCL in late October, and even though the Eagles signed him to a three-year extension in June, he'll be 36 to start the season, so the Eagles may want to start preparing for the future at Carson Wentz's blindside". But, more than anything, they need a bona fide, day one starter.

"Edmunds had 109 total tackles, 14 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks in 2017, and he does a good job covering pass-catchers out of the backfield". "Smith could be the centerpiece of Jon Gruden's Raiders defense, playing inside linebacker".

The Lions were the worst rushing team in the National Football League both in yards per game (76.3) and yards per attempt (3.4) this past season. At 6-4, 296, he can move his feet and get to the second level as a true athlete. He rewarded LSU by leading the SEC in rushing yards (1,387) and rushing touchdowns (15), despite starting just six of 12 games played. Both of those players stayed healthy in 2017, but what if that doesn't happen in 2018?
