Responding over a question, Raja said that batting is the weak link in Pakistani national team, and he wants to see new talented batsman entering in the national squad via PSL.

Mohammad Hafeez and DJG Sammy helped defending champions Peshawar Zalmi to set a target of 152 runs in the opener of Pakistan Super League (PSL) third edition here at Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

"Time is not far when the entire PSL will be played in the stadiums of Multan, Karachi, Lahore, Faisalabad and Peshawar", he said.

The ceremony kicked off with national anthem of Pakistan.

Most of the matches would be played in Dubai and Sharjah.

In the first edition of PSL, Peshawar Zalmi ended third while bagged the trophy past year after beating Quetta Gladiators by 58 runs in the Final of PSL 2017 at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

"There are no risky players for me" - Celtic midfielder unconcerned about Zenit
"You have to be able to play quality football and to do that, you have to stay calm and retain your emotion in the game , no matter how it goes".

"That will pave the way for a full series in Pakistan by a top team", Sethi told AFP, speaking from Dubai ahead of the tournament.

"We are having three matches in Pakistan this year".

Wasim stressed that officials are also eager to seek new talent from Pakistan.

Multan Sultans did not feature in previous PSL editions; therefore, it's yet to be seen as how they perform in the event under the guidance of Pakistani legendary Cricketer Wasim Akram and former Australian Cricketer Tom Moody.

Also on a trial will be Karachi, the sprawling, chaotic port megacity set to host the final. But four Twenty20 internationals - three against a World XI comprising of players from seven countries, and one against Sri Lanka - held following the PSL final a year ago have helped restore confidence.
