The acclaimed Redmi Note 4 was one of the best-selling smartphones in the mid-range price segment a year ago, with over 9 million units shipped.

Under the hood, Redmi Note 5 Pro will make use of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 which is an octa-core processor clocked at 1.8GHz.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro comes with dual rear camera and 20 megapixel front camera.

While the Redmi Note 5 is seemingly the rebranded version of the Redmi 5 Plus that was launched a few weeks back, the Redmi Note 5 Pro is a new product altogether.

Design-wise, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 measures 8.1mm in thickness and weighs 180g.

Xiaomi has launched the Mi LED TV 4, the company's first commercially available television set in India.

Well, the above image and everything which we know so far about the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 smartphone are just rumors and there is no any official information about this phone leaked yet. The Redmi Note 5 Pro has been priced at Rs. 13,999 for the base 4GB RAM variant and the 6GB RAM variant will be available for Rs. 16,999.

The price of Redmi Note 5 is expected to be under Rs 15,000. On the front, it bears a 5-megapixel sensor complete with an LED selfie-light module and Beautify 3.0 beautification tech.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5 features a bezel-less HD display with 1440 x 720 pixels. The dual 12MP + 5MP is accompanied by a massive 20MP selfie shooter, which the company says supports Portrait Mode with much better results than iPhone X and Google Pixel 2.

Its connectivity options include 4G, VoLTE, 3G, GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, GPS/AGPS, GLONASS, NFC, Wi-Fi Direct WLAN, Bluetooth, USB OTG and Micro-USB. It is powered by a 4000mAh battery, with 5V/2A fast charging. The handset features a hybrid SIM slot which also supports a microSD card.

Additionally, the left side of the device features Volume Rocker and Power button.
