Robin Lopez angrily throws chair after getting ejected from Bulls-Kings game

Not only was Lopez thrown out of the game after back-to-back technical fouls in the second quarter, had to be led off the court by Bulls coaches, but the team squandered a 16-point lead the rest of the way. The Bulls would only get as close as three points the rest of the way as Sacramento snapped a two-game losing streak of their own.

Sampson netted nine points and had six rebounds for the Kings.

It's insane to think that it wasn't that long ago that the Bulls guard had missed 11 games due to an ACL injury he suffered last season, as during this play, he showed no sign of being hindered by it. An arguably deserved shot considering Lopez's attempt at property damage in the Kings' new home venue.

Sacramento turned things around after that, scoring 32 in the second, 36 in the third and 27 in the fourth. Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg reflected on this after the game to ESPN, saying how their opponents ramped up the pressure in the second half.

They had very few three-pointers to speak of; in other words, they were the opposite of what the NBA is supposed to be today. In fact, not only do they have deficiencies, but they do not even have the tools or resources to resolve those deficiencies.

Lopez wasn't done venting, though, as he angrily tossed a chair while being escorted to the Golden 1 Center locker room. "I told him, 'That's bad.' I'm not sure the reason behind the technical, but I supposed the officials are absolute and who am I to discredit that?"

"I did a fair bit of screaming Saturday night trying to get us to play and I couldn't", Dave Joerger said, referring to a 106-99 loss to Dallas. "In my mind, such a subdued response".

He'll look to keep it going versus the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday.
