Lana Del Rey Kidnapping Attempt Stopped by Police

Recent Lana Del Rey Boxoffice reports submitted to Pollstar include September 5 at the Bil Graham Civic Auditorium in San Francisco, where she sold out 8,529 tickets and grossed $463,000, and the SSE Hydro in Scotland Aug. 23, where she sold 9,211 tickets and grossed $517,00.

A Florida man was arrested after police received a tip Friday about a possible kidnapping threat to singer Lana Del Rey, according to the Orlando Police Department.

Hunt had reportedly made "cryptic and threatening" posts on Facebook in the lead up to his arrest, and was reportedly obsessed with the singer. Orlando police officers said the suspect - who never made it inside the venue - was carrying a 3-inch folding knife.

Hunt has been charged with aggravated stalking and attempted kidnapping with a weapon.

He was blocked by the former USA Gymnastics team doctor's attorney, Matthew Newburg, and tackled by at least four deputies. His Michigan trial is now in its second day, and there are plenty more victims statements expected in the courtroom.

Earlier today Far Out reported the news that a 43-year-old Florida man has been arrested outside her concert armed with tickets and a weapon. After getting a tip that a man named Michael Hunt was planning to kidnap her ahead of a concert, the police arrested him.

Orlando Police did not say what the exact threats to the singer had been. In a separate post, Hunt has written that Del Rey "knows my face in her dreams" and "she's my always and forever to be".

The Young And Beautiful singer, 32, thanked her fans on Twitter after her performance in Orlando on Friday. "Thank you so much for coming out and making those shows totally insane and keeping the energy high", she wrote. Hunt is now being held at the Orange County jail on no bond and is expected to appear before a judge Sunday morning. "We're all feeling super lucky after a couple of days of awesome shows [hearts] that means", she tweeted, adding that she was "grateful".
