This plan is also valid for 28 days. Now Jio has announced yet another offer ahead of Republic Day. This means the 1GB data per day plans are effectively phased out, at least till the Republic Day offer continues. The Rs. 149 recharge came with unlimited calling benefits with 100 daily free SMS per day. When it comes to calls, there is a daily cap of 250 minutes, and weekly cap of 1,000 minutes. The plan includes unlimited voice calls and 100 SMSes per day. Apart from that, the company also introduced 198-rupee, 398-rupee, 448-rupee, and 498-rupee plans, offering 1.5 GB of data per day. Earlier this plan offered free calls from Airtel to Airtel but now it offers unlimited local, STD and roaming calls irrespective of any network. It is worth noting that the plans are available in Chennai and Tamilnadu circles.

Reliance Jio has declared another recharge offer as a feature of the "Republic Day 2018" for its clients, under which its current 1GB and 1.5GB daily data packs have been moved up to offer 1.5GB and 2GB daily data separately, with no adjustment in the value point.

Rs 199: After the latest revision in this plan, users get 1.4GB data per day for a period of 28 days. Previously, the plan offered 1GB daily data. Jio provides a similar plan with 1.5GB daily data at the price of Rs 198. Jio's Rs 399 plan as of now gives clients 84GB aggregate data at 1GB every day, while Rs 449 offers 91GB data taking all things together.

As part of the Republic Day offer, Reliance Jio has increased daily data allowances by up to 50%. Alternatively, they can cancel the active plan in the MyJio app and activate the 1.5GB data plan as soon as they buy it. The plan offers 1.4GB daily 3G/4G data and validity of 82 days.

Reliance Jio Infocomm's new mass-connect Rs 98-a-month 4G plan, seen as a highlight of its second successive cut in effective rates in two weeks, is likely to cause another round of market disruption and more revenue erosion for incumbents Bharti Airtel, Vodafone India and Idea Cellular, analysts said.
