Prayers for Jessica go internet-wide as life support turned off

The 29-year-old and her 21-year-old sister Annabelle were pulled unconscious from the wreckage of the crash, which occurred on the coast of New South Wales.

Earlier in the week, hundreds of mourners had attended the funeral service of Jessica's mother Vivian, 60, father Lars, 69 and sister Annabelle, 21, at Saint Mary's Church in Concord, Sydney.

Annabelle died in hospital three days later, and Jessica had remained in a coma following several surgeries.

There has been no official confirmation from the NSW Police or hospital that the actress has died.

Jessica graduated from National Institute of Dramatic Arts and then landed her role on Home and Away.

The Daily Telegraph report that Jessica's life support was turned off earlier today [11 January], with the publication also claiming that 50-year-old Craig Whitall, the driver of the other vehicle involved in the accident, had previously been subject to a nine-year driving ban and had as many as 10 convictions for driving while disqualified.

It has been revealed that the killer driver Craig Whitall had been declared an habitual traffic offender by the courts with more than 60 convictions to his name.

Jessica, 29, had her life support switched off on Thursday as devastated family members have kept a bedside vigil at St George Hospital in the hope that she could be brought out of her medically induced coma.

The family was remembered as an inseparable, radiant group.

Vivian Falkholt's brother Paul Ponticello spoke at their funeral, saying he thought he and his sister "would grow old together".

A family friend said, "They were a very close family and had been on a quiet getaway", according to The Telegraph as reported by Sydney Morning Herald.

"The irony of this tragedy is that Lars was such a careful driver". We always had a good laugh. The movie will release in 2018. "You will be deeply missed".
