New pictures of Princess Charlotte released on her first day at nursery

Twitter followers commented on Princess Charlotte's cuteness and her royal bearing.

Back in 2016, the soon-to-be mom of three commemorated Prince George's first day of preschool with sweet photos taken outside his nursery in Norfolk.

Unlike previous senior royals, Prince William attended nursery school as a child and son George made the step up from nursery to primary school in September when he began at Thomas's Battersea, a private school in southwest London.

"The images were taken by The Duchess shortly before Princess Charlotte left for her first day of nursery at the Willcocks Nursery School".

While Charlotte "builds a rapport" with classmates and teachers, Kate and William are asked "to stay in the vicinity for the first few sessions so that you can return if needed".

Malaysia to resume search for missing flight MH370 in southern Indian Ocean
The governments of Malaysia, China and Australia called off the 1,046-day official search on January 17 previous year . The ship has unmanned submarines that can descend deep into the ocean.

The school, which charges £14,550 ($19,740) per year, was classed as "outstanding" at the last official inspection in 2012.

Charlotte will be full-time at Willcocks, at a cost of more than $AUD5000 per week.

From 9am to midday, the morning school is open for children aged two to five years and includes singing, poetry workshops, acting and show and tell.

The two-year-old was photographed by her mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, at Kensington Palace, before she took the short journey to nearby Willcocks Nursery School, where fees are just over £3,000 a term. "We look forward to welcoming Charlotte to our nursery in January".
