Jerry Van Dyke, Younger Brother of Dick Van Dyke, Dead at 86

Rest in peace. Comedian and actor Jerry Van Dyke has sadly died on Friday, January 5 at 86 years old.

Jerry Van Dyke's wife, Shirley Ann Jones, confirmed to The New York Times that the seasoned actor died on Friday at his ranch in Arkansas. She was with him by his side as he passed, and Shirley revealed that Jerry's health had been deteriorating ever since the couple got involved in a auto accident two years ago.

In his final TV role in 2015, Jerry Van Dyke reprised his role on "The Middle", guesting alongside his brother, Dick.

Jerry Van Dyke was a well-known comedian who performed at various military bases and appeared on television programs.
