Fans React to ABC Canceling 'The Mayor'

ABC will not re-elect The Mayor.

It's bad news for fans of ABC's The Mayor... the network has pulled the plug on the freshman comedy!

Until then, the time slot (Tuesday at 9:30 p.m.) will be filled by Modern Family repeats.

Despite an order for three back-up scripts, along with four unaired episodes left in the series, there are now no plans to schedule additional episodes on the network, ABC replacing it with reruns of Modern Family. Hulu, a joint venture with Disney, has stacking rights to the series.

What is clear, however, is that ABC will not be ordering any more installments of the comedy. The series has aired seven of its 13 episodes and will wrap production.

YouTube Star Logan Paul Apologizes For Posting Video Of Dead Body
Back in the parking lot he films the emergency response crews, drinks sake, and says "that's the life, this daily vlog life". Kind of hard to do that when Paul is heard laughing at his friend who said he felt ill after discovering the body.

The Mayor was a comedy that debuted in the fall season of 2017.

"The Mayor" was originally set to return to ABC's lineup this coming Tuesday.

Hamilton star and Clipping vocalist Daveed Diggs executive produced The Mayor. The overall live viewership has continued to slide, with its November 14 installment registering a paltry 2.45 million total viewers as it airs opposite NBC's This Is Us. ABC also has the dramas The Crossing, Deception, Shondaland's For the People, and the Grey's Anatomy spinoff all still left to schedule.
