Samsung will launch this smartphone in India on 3rd January

As we have stepped into the new year, a report by Korea Herald states that Samsung will sell the Galaxy A8 (2018) in South Korea via the carrier KT Corp starting from this week. The South Korean company Samsung introduced the Galaxy On Nxt model in India in 2016.

While this isn't particularly a new launch, the 16GB variant of the Galaxy On Nxt seems to be new. According to the Flipkart listing, the device will be on discount from 00:00am on January 3. The RAM is 3 GB, and if the 16 GB internal storage is not enough, there is also a hybrid SIM slot for a microSD card with up to 256 GB storage. The features of this smartphone will be similar to the previous smartphone.
