Five-star defensive end recruit Micah Parsons officially picks Penn State

Five-star defensive end recruit Micah Parsons officially picks Penn State

Parsons is the class' highest ranked recruit, checking in at No. 4 nationally, while Monmouth Junction, N.J., receiver Justin Shorter and Woodbridge, Va., running back Ricky Slade are the two other five-stars.

As a result of the infractions, Ohio State declared him ineligible for an unknown amount of time and will no longer recruit him.

Tuesday, it was reported that Ohio State had to give up on its pursuit of five-star defensive end Micah Parsons because of a recruiting violation.

The Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, prospect was then linked to Alabama and eventually Ohio State, before abruptly seeing his recruitment end with the Buckeyes. "He came on the set at a commercial break & asked for a picture with Eddie and I".

Hotel hits guest with $350 charge for negative review
An Indiana hotel has reportedly charged a woman $350 after she left a negative review, according to reports. A representative said new ownership took over the hotel in January and wasn't aware of the lawsuit.

"What we're doing on the football field, what we're doing from a facility perspective, and what we're doing from a staff perspective, and then recruiting, I keep seeing us make progress every single day", head coach James Franklin said. "The Buckeyes still could have pursued Parsons if they decided that was the best path to take". They have the No. 1 recruiting class in the country and have a number of top recruits set to decide today. A ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday morning where Parsons is widely expected to sign with Penn State. Oklahoma, Georgia and Nebraska are also candidates for Parsons' signature.

Now that Parsons is on board, the question becomes how Penn State will use him. The 6-foot-3, 215-pounder just wrapped up his official visit in Athens.

He'll play defense for the Lions, either at defensive end or linebacker, a spot where the Lions are looking thin for 2018.
